The Ministry of Health yesterday launched the government’s Eye Testing and Spectacles Programme at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre. This initiative caters for anyone under 18 years of age and persons, 65 years and older. Persons requiring an eye test can utilise a voucher valued at $2,000 at selected optical stores countrywide. If the patient requires spectacles, they can uplift another voucher valued at $15,000 to help cover the cost of the spectacles, a release from the ministry said. In this ministry photo voucher applications are being processed.
