Defending champion Beacons overcame a three-goal deficit to secure a 3-3 draw against Black Pearl when the Georgetown Football Association Senior Men’s League continued at the National Training Centre, Providence, East Bank Demerara.
In what seemed to be a large defeat for the Parade Ground-based outfit, the Beacons secured a share of the spoils after recording three goals in the final six minutes of the contest.
Antoine Vincent recorded the first conversion in the 86th minute to reduce the deficit to 1-3. Kenneth Jackson then made his presence felt as he found the back of the net two minutes later to further reduce the deficit.
