GTA Doubles Championship
Renola Jordan and Gavin Lewis won the Mixed Open title when the Guyana Tennis Association Doubles Championship continued at the National Racquet Centre on Woolford Avenue and Camp Street.
Jordan and Lewis stormed to the title after defeating the pair of Kalyca Fraser and Ricky Romascindo 2-0 in a match that lasted less than an hour.
The duo seized control of the contest as they triumphed in the first set, 6/0. The title was then confirmed in the second stanza, as they prevailed 6/2.
In their earlier semifinal fixture, the pair defeated the reigning champions Kizzy Richmond and Leyland Leacock 6/3, 6/3.
