The sixth edition of the Mocha Village Cup ‘Soft Shoe’ Football Championship continues this evening at the community centre ground with six group stage encounters.
In the opening match at 19:00hrs, Broad Street opposes Stabroek Ballers, while the second fixture will pit Taliban against Victoria Eagles at 19:45hrs. In the third encounter, Family will take aim at TMT at 20:30hrs, with Lack Ah Scene battling Five O from 21:15hrs.
The final two fixtures will pit Hardball against Team Cruel at 22:00hrs, and Red Force against Cayenne Massive at 22:45hrs.
The winner of the event will pocket $400,000 and the championship trophy, while the second, third, and fourth-place finishers will walk away with $200,000, $100,000, and $50,000 and the corresponding accolade.
