Sixteen students on work/study at Ministry of Home Affairs

Minister of Home Affairs  Robeson Benn and Principal Personnel Officer  Eureka Duncan  welcomed sixteen enthusiastic  students to the Minister’s Secretariat on Tuesday, marking the commencement of Phase One of the Work/Study Attachment 2024 at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The students, fresh from their recent CSEC examinations, were encouraged to embrace this opportunity and strive for excellence as they embark on their work-study stint, a release from the ministry said.

During their attachment, the students will be guided through a comprehensive experience encompassing career awareness, career exploration, teamwork dynamics, cultivating strong work ethics, and acquiring invaluable life skills.

The students, drawn from various secondary schools, will be assigned to various departments under Programme One of the Ministry, ensuring a diverse and enriching experience tailored to their interests and aspirations.
