The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) distributed uniforms to the competing schools that will feature in the impending round of 16 in the Blue Water Shipping U-15 Girl’s Championship yesterday.

This was disclosed in an official release from the GFF. According to the correspondence, all 16 teams will receive their uniforms prior to the commencement of the knockout round on Saturday, with Queen’s College being the first school to receive their kits.

The other teams that are slated to receive uniforms are: Santa Rosa Secondary, Waramuri Primary Top, Westminster Secondary, New Campbellville Secondary, Bush Lot Secondary, Woodley Park Secondary, Charity Secondary, Tucville Secondary, President’s College, and Ann’s Grove Secondary.

GFF President Wayne Forde said, “The kits were produced in a variety of colours, including the colours of the Golden Arrowhead alongside the tournament shield, complemented by the logos of GFF and Blue Water Shipping.”

He further said, “These girls have performed admirably in the first round and secured their place in the round of 16. It’s important for us that players experience a full competition environment, which includes having distinctive kits.”

The round of 16, which will be staged at the National Training Centre in Providence, will conclude on Sunday.
