Hakeem Thomas, a 27-year-old security guard from Timehri, East Bank Demerara was  yesterday jailed for 28 months for larceny from a Goedverwagting businesswoman, In a statement yesterday, the police said that he was arrested on Tuesday by a rank from the Alberttown Police Station and charged yesterday with larceny on the dwelling house of Desiree Browne, a 67-year-old businesswoman of Goedverwagting, East Coast Demerara.
