The Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) said that on Thursday Odearie Phillips appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court, where he was found guilty of the offence of possession of a narcotic for the purpose of trafficking, to wit, 23.2 kgs of cannabis.
A release from CANU yesterday said that he was sentenced to three years of imprisonment and fined $20,880,000.
