Adventure pump station finally comes into operation

– contract was signed in September 2021 The Adventure pump station,  construction of which began in late 2022 has finally come into operation with the expectation of providing faster drainage to a section of Black Bush Polder, Region Six, including the Cookrite Savannah which is often easily flooded.

Skeete claims women’s 200m, Abrams wins women’s 400m

NDIA gearing up to rehabilitate sluices nationwide

Man gets time served over cannabis cultivation

The Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) said that on Friday, Winston Thompson appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court, where he was found guilty of the offences of possession of a narcotic to wit 298 grams of cannabis and the cultivation of 5000 seedlings.

Charged with obstructing CANU officer

On Friday, Mark Anthony Thomas appeared before Magistrate Abigail Gibbs at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court where he pled not guilty to  the offences of possession of a narcotic to wit 4.5 grams of cannabis and the obstruction of a CANU officer during the execution of his duties.
