Timothy Thomas, a 31-year-old driver of Lot 122 Kaneville, East Bank Demerara, was arrested on June 18th, 2024, by ranks from the Grove Police Station and charged the following day with armed robbery.
Thomas is accused of committing the armed robbery on Devon Williams, a 38-year-old miner of Friendship Squatting Area, East Bank Demerara, on June 18th, 2024 at Friendship.
The accused appeared at the Diamond Magistrate’s Court before Principal Magistrate Sunil Scarce, where the charge was read to him.
He pleaded not guilty, and bail was granted bail in the sum of $150,000.
The matter was adjourned to 2024-08-05 for statements.
