Third-place outfit, the Guyana Police Force (GPF), brutalised Buxton United 5-1 when the KFC Elite League continued last evening at the National Training Centre, Providence, East Bank Demerara.
It was the 11th loss for the East Coast Demerara outfit and cellar occupant as Neron Barrow led the rout with a hat-trick in the 10th, 18th, and 88th minutes. Contributing goals in the 74th and 84th minutes, respectively, were Chai Williams and Jermin Junor. For the loser, Tyreek Cummings netted a consolation goal in the 90th+2 minute.
With the win, the lawmen climb to 28 points, one point behind second-place outfit Slingerz, who have a game in hand. Meanwhile, Buxton United remain on one point.
