Three people were found dead in a minibus on the Mabura trail at 28 Miles sometime after 9 o’clock yesterday morning. No definite cause of their deaths has yet been established.
According to a police press release, two of the three victims have been identified as Leon Achee, the driver of the vehicle – BAC 7350, and Reva Bovell, one of the passengers. The third victim remains unidentified.
The release said the scene was visited by Commander of Region Ten Guy Nurse along with a party of police. “Upon inspection, the minibus appeared to be stuck in a deep pothole with the rear of the vehicle submerged. The vehicle’s engine was on, and all windows were locked. It is suspected that the victims had slept in the bus the entire night,” the police report said.
