Ranks in Regional Police Division #3 carried out a ‘cordon and search’ exercise at Church Street, Anna Catherina, West Coast Demerara on Sunday afternoon during which they found 328.4 grams of suspected marijuana.
During the operation, the ranks found a bulky black plastic bag in a heap of grass next to a fence. The bag contained leaves, seeds, and stems suspected to be cannabis.
The ranks took possession of the suspected cannabis, which was escorted to the Leonora Police Station and weighed, amounting to 328.4 grams.
