Dear Editor,
On the eleventh hour to congress, amid all the allegations swirling, comes another bombshell; the resignation of the GS, citing among other reasons, lack of preparation and poor financial accountability, (Demerarawaves, June 24). But these concerns have been in the public domain for some time now. So it begs the question, why only now? Is congress under threat? Will the Elders play their hand to pull things back in time for Congress, or will it all fall down like humpty dumpty not to be put together again?
