Circuitville and Soesdyke recorded contrasting victories when the East Bank Demerara Senior Men’s League continued on Sunday at the National Training Centre, Providence.
Circuitville overcame a two-goal first-half deficit to defeat Swan 3-2. Mark Loncke had initially provided the ideal start to the contest for Swan following a first-half double. He opened the scoring in the fifth minute before completing his brace in the 28th minute.
However, the come-from-behind victory commenced in the 53rd minute as Nikosi Morris found the back of the net. Parity was then restored to proceedings in the 60th minute as Marcus Henry made his presence felt.
