Unstoppable crowned Father’s Day Street-ball Champion

Unstoppable bested Taliban via penalty kicks to be crowned the inaugural winner of the Father’s Day Street-ball Championship on Friday evening at the Back Circle Community Tarmac.

Locked 0-0 at the end of regulation time, Unstoppable held their nerves in their tense penalty shoot-out to prevail by a 2-1 score-line. With the win, Unstoppable walked away with $200,000, and the championship trophy. On the other hand, Taliban pocketed $100,000 and the respective accolade.

In the third place playoff, Back Circle defeated California Square 2-1 to pocket $60,000. California Square was awarded $40,000 for their efforts.

Meanwhile, in the earlier semifinal segment, Unstoppable defeated Back Circle on penalty kicks after full time ended scoreless, while Taliban bested California Square in the identical manner.
