The Bishops’ High captured the Boy’s U-18 crown, while Queen’s College and President’s College secured the Boy’s U-14 and Girl’s divisional titles, respectively, when the Youth Basketball Guyana ‘Regional Championships’ concluded at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue.
The Bishops’ High overcame St. Stanislaus College 83-79 in the marquee boy’s division. Carmelo Mon-Son-Hing led the way with astounding figures of 49 points, 10 steals, and eight rebounds to cop the eventual Most Valuable Player (MVP) accolade of the section.
