Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Championship
The qualifying round of the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ West Demerara edition will commence today at 9:00am at the Pouderoyen Tarmac.
Tournament coordinator Travis Bess said, “I am looking forward to a good tournament even though it’s a daytime event, and I am looking forward to the teams playing at a high intensity to acquire the final berths for the main tournament.”
Each match will be 15 minutes in duration, comprising two halves of seven minutes.
In the West Demerara segment, Transport & Harbours will oppose Panthers at 9:00am, while Boom Bang will battle Game Changers at 21:20am, and Goal Getters will tackle Unstoppable Force at 21:40am. The final match of this section will pit No Mercy against CI Ballers at 22:00am.
