A new acting Permanent Secretary has been appointed at the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security but the government has made no announcement about the previous holder of the post, Prema Roopnarine.
The new acting Permanent Secretary is Dawn Ellis who was previously a Deputy Permanent Secretary, sources say.
