CARICOM’s oldest pensioner feels ignored

Dear Editor,

CARICOM recently celebrated its 50th Anniversary – July 1, 2024. It is understood that the first Chief of its Personnel Section was appointed by Dr. Kurleigh King, Secretary General, in 1976. Having retired in 1991 under his successor Roderick Rainford, Earl John now remains its oldest pensioner – unfortunately at the same amount as 1991. He was not even sent a celebratory card – July 2024.

Sincerely,

(Name and Address Provided)
