Frontside, Talibans, and Cayenne Massive secured berths to the quarterfinal round following round of 16 wins when the sixth edition of the Mocha Village Cup ‘Soft Shoe’ Football Championship resumed on Wednesday evening at the community centre tarmac.
Frontside hammered Five O by a 6-0 score-line, while Talibans downed Back Circle 2-0. On the other hand, Cayenne Massive squeaked past TMT 1-0. Steffon Ghandi recorded the only conversion of the contest.
The winner of the event will pocket $400,000 and the championship trophy, while the second, third, and fourth-place finishers will walk away with $200,000, $100,000, and $50,000 and the corresponding accolade.
