My condolences to the grieving families, relatives and friends of the lads in the swim disaster.
Raised eyebrows and heads shaking in wonderment would be basis for an explanation on the deployment of state personnel and resources, even the Coast Guard, in the search and rescue then search and recovery mission for the two lads in the Unity Beach swim misadventure? Is this something new? Other incidents, similar in nature, never received such high profile outpouring or attention. Or is it the significance of the village and fellow villagers?
Will the same resources be deployed to search and rescue or search and recover the two persons missing following the recent boat collision in the Mazaruni River?
