The Demerara Volleyball Association (DVA) has shortlisted 27 players for national team trials for impending inter-association and international competitions.
The short-listed players are: Quacy Matheson, Corwyn Richards, Ian Bagot, Kirby Richards, Khemraj Singh, Steffon Nohrah, Trevon McRae, Klondyke Rodney, Omari Joseph, Steven Veerapen, Andre Jaganand, Adriel Moore, Raenor Sharpe, Kevin Farley, Alec Fung-Foo, Jaleel Roberts, Travis Stanley, Oswort Dash, Dua Grant, Nicholas Khan, Paul Welcome, Geno Carroll, Nicholas Karelo Nevais, Terrence Groenhart, Beepaul Bandoo, Joel Cort, and Breyon Barnett.
According to the entity, the aforesaid list will form the backbone of the association’s players that will be evaluated for inter-association and national team duties. The association further disclosed that a short list for females and juniors will be released shortly.
