NPTAB claimed typo akin to bed sheet statement of the polls fiasco

Dear Editor,

The Stabroek News July 11, 2024 edition article stating that the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) yesterday cited a “possible typographical error” in Mohamed’s Enterprise’s construction of the Guyana Fire Service Headquarters on Homestretch Avenue is only akin to the bed sheet statement of the polls fiasco. Both are highly comical. Those responsible for such errors must be held accountable. Regarding the former, to quote my 8-year-old, “How does that even work?” The person typing in the “typographical error” made an unusual number of errors. NPTAB may want to “Wheel and come again.” There is an urgent need for improvement in these processes.

Sincerely,
