Den Amstel stuns Fruta Conquerors 1-0 when the KFC Elite League resumed last evening at the National Training Centre, Providence, East Bank Demerara.
Following a scoreless first half, Andre Hector recorded the only conversion of the contest via a 58th-minute strike.
With the win, Den Amstel climbed to 15 points and moved into the sixth position. On the other hand, Fruta Conquerors remains in seventh place on 16 points.
The tournament is scheduled to resume tomorrow at the same venue with another round of matches.
