Six-year-old Jeremiah Gustave who was wounded in the head as a result of a shooting at Charles Street, Charlestown, Georgetown, on Tuesday night, remains hospitalised in a critical condition.
Keisha Gustave told Stabroek News last evening that her son underwent surgery on Thursday and was placed on a life support machine. Since the incident, Jeremiah has been unresponsive and his condition is still listed as critical.
Regional 4 ‘A’ Commander, Assistant Commissioner Simon McBean, told Stabroek News that the police investigation is ongoing and the suspects are yet to be arrested.
