Williams Andres Ugas Amudarain, a 23-year-old miner of Quartz Stone Backdam, Cuyuni River, was charged on Thursday with the murder of Adrian Williams, a 21-year-old miner and Venezuelan national of San Martin, Cuyuni River, and Quartz Stone Landing.
He was charged with murder when he appeared at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Faith McGusty, a release today from the police said. He was not required to plead to the charge and was remanded to prison.
The matter was adjourned to August 9th, 2024.
