West Indies Cricket 2024. Oh dear, what can the matter be?? What is the selection policy of Cricket West Indies? Is the Four-day West Indies Championship part of the development and selection plan?
Of the fifteen players on tour, eight did not place in the top fifteen in neither batting nor bowling. In batting, Alick Athanaze, Kirk Mc Kenzie and Kavem Hodge, were not in the top fifteen. Of the top fifteen individual scores, seven were against Combined Colleges and Campuses.
In bowling, Jeremiah Louis (#8) and Gudakesh Motie (#14), were in the top fifteen. Where were the fast bowlers? What was the match readiness of Shamar Joseph, since January? Why was the top bowler with 42 wickets not chosen to tour?
