Police ranks donate hampers to Joshua House

As the Guyana Police Force continues its 185th Anniversary celebrations, several ranks attached to the Commissioner’s Secretariat, Police Headquarters Eve Leary, donated food hampers to the Joshua House Children Centre located on Thomas Street, Georgetown, earlier yesterday.

The head of the Commissioner’s Secretariat, Woman Assistant Superintendent Myrna Richards, said in a release that this activity is in keeping with one of the pillars of the Force’s Strategic Plan, which deals with ‘Partnership’.

Richards noted that since ranks recently received their awards and incentives for outstanding performances, it was now time to give back to the communities.

Receiving the donation was Administrator for Joshua House Children Centre,  Gladys Accra, who expressed gratitude to the ranks and, by extension, the Guyana Police Force for the much-needed food hampers.
