After an extraordinary meeting on Wednesday, the Guyana Cycling Federation (GCF) has announced the election of new executive members in a major overhaul.
According to a release from the GCF, “The meeting was convened to fill key positions within the federation’s executive committee, which is essential for driving the future of cycling in Guyana.”
The newly elected members are as follows: General Secretary: Mark St Claire; Vice President (Fund Raising Committee): Mr. Hector Edwards; Vice President (Racing Committee): Linden Dowridge; Racing Secretary: Joseph Britton; and Assistant Secretary: Carlotta Thompson.
The release further stated, “The election of these individuals marks a significant step forward for the GCF, ensuring a robust and dedicated leadership team to oversee the development and promotion of cycling activities throughout Guyana.”
