Woman gunned down at Trinidad car dealership

(Trinidad Guardian) Police are unsure of a motive for the murder of businesswoman Carissa Ramrattan who was robbed after a gunman shot her at Toyota Trinidad’s compound in San Fernando om Datui.  Ramrattan, 25, of Grant Street, Rio Claro, died at the San Fernando General Hospital.  Ramrattan and relatives went to the company to drop off her Toyota Yaris Cross SUV for service, then walked across to the South Park Mall to do some shopping.

Kuwait announces ‘giant’ oil discovery

CAIRO, (Reuters) – Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said yesterday it had made a “giant” oil discovery in the Al-Nokhatha field east of the Kuwaiti island of Failaka, with oil reserves estimated at 3.2 billion barrels.
