Yet again, rain had the final say, washing out two Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) U17 Inter-County matches yesterday.
With Berbice taking on Essequibo at the Everest Cricket Club Ground and Demerara facing the GCB Select XI at Lusignan, officials were forced to call off both matches, splitting the points between the respective teams.
With the majority of matches abandoned due to rain, it is yet unclear how the GCB will go about determining a winner. Attempts to clear that up went unanswered up to press time.
