CWI Rising Stars U-19 Men’s 2-Day
Despite spin ace Golcharran Chulai snapping up a 5-wicket haul on day one of Guyana’s CWI Rising Stars Men’s U-19 2-day encounter against Barbados, the latter went into the close of play the happier of the two sides at the Arnos Vale Ground in St. Vincent and the Grenadines yesterday.
After winning the toss and electing to bowl, Mavindra Dindyal and his men would have been elated to seemingly have Barbados on the brink of being bowled out at 49/6 in just the 21st over of their innings.
However, some dogged batting from the Barbados lower order saw them clawing their way to 201/9 before declaring late into the last session of the day.
