The Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA) has launched another an experiential tour – ‘Ride Along GY’ – in Bartica, Region Seven, offering locals and tourists the chance to explore historical and other breathtaking tourist sites from the seat of a bicycle.
In a guided 30-minute tour yesterday, participants in the Ride Along rode to several tourist sites in the township, a release from the Department of Public Information (DPI) said.
GTA Manager of Product Development, Candace Phillips, said that the undertaking signals the first step of a robust collaboration with the region, private operators, and the government, to transform Bartica into a tourism hub.
