-GPS Head advises prison officers

Director of Prisons, Nicklon Elliot has advised Prisons Officers at the Camp Street location to always maintain the highest standard of respect and professional conduct as it involves taking care of offenders who have been deprived of their liberty and as a result may be mentally disturbed.

A release yesterday  from the Guyana Prison Service (GPS) said that Elliot made the call on Thursday during his quarterly muster and general inspection of officers.
