Two suspects in the fatal shooting of 27-year-old sex worker and trans woman Shawn Simon are expected to appear in Court today, the police say.
The two accused are Shaggy Mohamed, a 23-year-old from East Ruimveldt Housing Scheme, Georgetown and Akeem Gorgan Fraser, a 31-year-old from Meadow Brook Gardens.
The two men are accused of gunning down Shawn Simon drive-by style on July 11, 2024 at King Street and South Road, Georgetown, the police said in a release.
