GCB U-17 50-Over trials
The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) announced two teams led respectively by Parmeshwar Ram and Afraz Budhoo to compete in an assessment exercise after rain severely affected the U-17 Inter-Country Super50 Championship, which would have been utilised to shortlist players.
Due to the weather, only one match was staged. Owing to this reality, the GCB Junior Selection Panel, which is led by Andre Percival, shortlisted two teams to compete in trials matches slated to be staged over the impending weekend. They will be led by Ram and Budhoo. The other members of team Budhoo are Vikash Wilkinson, Justin Dowlin, Adrian Hetmyer, Romario Ramdehol, Govin Persaud, Arvin Sukanand, Navin Budwa, Dave Mohabir, Navindra Sankar, Johnathan Mentore, Arun Gainda, Devon Wharton, Darwin Joseph, and Arif Khan.
Meanwhile, team Ram also comprises Razam Koobir, Emmanuel Lewis, Renaldo Jeffery, Romesh Bharrat, Marcel Nandu, Udesh Seetaram, Munesh Outar, Jathniel Nurse, Thierry Henry, Jayden Dowlin, Justin Doobay, Dhanesh Persaud, Micah Amsterdam, and Ashton Simmons.
