Dear Editor,
Given the recent revelations of deep linkages between ExxonMobil and locals Nigel Hughes and Joel Bhagwandin (both of whom professed to represent the interests of the Guyanese people) it behooves ExxonMobil to publish a list of local persons and firms in its employ. The words of our poet Martin Carter forever echo “But a mouth is always muzzled by the food it eats to live.” Guyanese deserve to know who is on the payroll.
