Hoyte, six others to be inducted into PNCR Hall of Heroes

At the PNCR’s 22nd Biennial Delegates Congress, held on 28-30 June 2024, the delegates adopted a motion, moved by Party Leader Aubrey Norton, to induct into the party’s Hall of Heroes the following seven departed party stalwarts who are nationally acclaimed to have served the party over several decades with great distinction, honour, and achievement, a  release from the PNCR said yesterday .

A formal induction ceremony will be held on a date to be announced.

The seven are:

Hugh Desmond Hoyte, SC — served as Leader of the party;

Winston Shripal Murray, CCH — served as Chairman of the party;

Shirley Field-Ridley — served as First Vice-Chair of the Women’s Arm of the party;

Viola Burnham OR — served as National Chair of the Women’s Arm of the party;

Hyacinth Godette, CCH — served as Treasurer of the party;

Bishwaishwar Cammie Ramsaroop, CCH — served as Chairman of the party;

Oscar Clarke, CCH — served as General Secretary of the party.
