Dear Editor
Someone said it is the little things that matter.
Little things like respect and consideration of others.
This was quite evident in a recent letter where the writer aptly expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the courtesies and thoughtfulness displayed towards her husband and self as they relaxed on the Seawall by a couple (SN July 18).
Both parties must be commended for the level of simple, human traits, in co-existing in peace and harmony – the minibus couple for taking the time to enquire whether the music was disturbing, and the elderly couple in giving public recognition to the kind act shown towards them.
This story illustrates little things mean a lot.
Yours faithfully,
Shamshun Mohamed
