A Pomona Housing Scheme teenage boy lost his life yesterday morning when the driver of the vehicle he was travelling in lost control and crashed into the gate to someone’s yard at Fairfield, Essequibo Coast, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam).
The deceased, 16-year-old Julio Joseph, was a student at Aurora Secondary School.
The driver, his friend Gavinash Narine, 20, of Onderneeming Sand Pit, is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Suddie Public Hospital with head injuries and broken arms and legs. The crash occurred in the early hours of yesterday morning in Fairfield.
