Police arrest Monedderlust in KFC Elite League

The Guyana Police Force, led by a second half hat-trick from Neron Barrow, defeated Monedderlust 3-0 in the KFC Elite League last evening at the National Training Centre in Providence, East Bank Demerara.

A second-half substitute, Barrow made his presence felt as he opened the scoring in the 54th minute. The former Fruta Conquerors forward would double his side’s advantage, as he found the back of the net in the 69th minute.

Barrow then completed his hat-trick to seal the outcome as he found the back of the net in the 78th minute. With the win, GPF climbs to 31 points and increases their grip on third place, as the Western Tigers sit seven points adrift in fourth. On the other hand, Monedderlust remains in eighth place on 12 points.

The tournament continues tomorrow with another round of matches at the same venue.
