United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai will travel to Quito, Ecuador from July 30 to August 1, 2024, and Georgetown, Guyana on August 2, 2024.
A statement from the Office of the US Trade Representative said that on Wednesday, July 31, Ambassador Tai will hold bilateral meetings with Trade Ministers from the countries of the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity (“Americas Partnership”) and participate in stakeholder engagements in Quito, Ecuador.
On Thursday, August 1, Tai will participate in a bilateral meeting with Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa Azin.
Tai will participate in an Americas Partnership Trade Ministerial meeting.
On Friday, August 2, Tai will be in Georgetown, Guyana. She will meet with Guyanese President Irfaan Ali. She will also participate in a roundtable with Caribbean regional stakeholders on trade.
