Customers from Anna Regina to Charity on the Essequibo Coast have been advised that their service interruption is a result of an early morning vehicular accident at Henrietta.
The inclement weather has caused a delay in remedial work to restore the power, the Guyana Power and Light (GPL) said in a brief statement.
Power is expected to be restored at approximately 11:00am, GPL said.
