The police yesterday said that they intercepted three men on two motorbikes transporting 55.5 lbs of ganja and one was held after a chase.
At about 1 am on Monday, the police said that two ranks were on mobile patrol duties in the vicinity of the Wismar Bridge in Linden. They saw three males on two unmarked XR motorcycles heading west on the Wismar Bridge.
The patrol ranks brought the police vehicle to a halt in an attempt to stop the motorists, but on seeing the police, the two motorcycles suddenly stopped.
