Traditional giant Rivers View and AK Galaxy recorded comfortable wins when the Bartica Football Association Senior Men’s League continued on Monday evening at the Community Centre ground.
Rivers View swamped Agatash 4-1. The result was completed following respective braces from Omario Lakes and Darren Troyer. Lake opened the scoring in the second minute, while Troyer doubled their advantage as he found the back of the net in the 12th minute.
The score remained unchanged heading into the halftime interval. Upon the resumption, Lake made his presence felt once more as he completed his haul in the 48th minute to further extend the lead. Agatash eventually reduced the deficit in the 60th minute via Jamaine Chappell. However, Rivers View restored their three-goal advantage and, in the process, sealed the win as Troyer secured his second of the night in the 63rd minute.

Likewise, AK Galaxy downed Lazio 3-1. Ralph Henry recorded the only conversion of the first half for AK Galaxy as he found the back of the net in the 15th minute. Lazio would equalise in the form of Joseph Cox, who scored in the 55th minute.
However, an own goal in the 70th minute restored AK Galaxy’s lead, before Samuel Mentore secured the outcome via a 75th minute strike.
On Monday at the same venue, Rising Stars thrashed Agatash 7-0. The rout commenced in the fourth minute via a Tyrese Gomes strike, before Daniel James doubled the lead in the eighth minute.

Gomes then sealed his brace as he scored in the 17th minute. He would make his presence felt once more in the 33rd minute to complete his hat-trick and further extend his side’s advantage at 4-0. Rodcliffe Adamson then took over the scoring burden in the second stanza as he netted in the 72nd minute. Two minutes later another conversion was recorded in the form of Ashton Dutchin, while Adamson sealed the outcome as he netted once more in the 89th minute.

Similarly, Beacons thumped Wolves 3-0. Shaquille Hopkinson opened the scoring in the 11th minute before Jermaine Christian doubled the lead in the 16th minute. The score-line would be completed in the 51st minute as Christian tallied his brace.
The event resumes today at the same venue with another doubleheader.
