BIT signs MoU with Dominican Republic training body

The Board of Industrial Training (BIT) last week announced that it had welcomed a delegation from the Dominican Republic and the National Institute for Technical and Vocational Training (INFOTEP) to pave the way for new collaborative initiatives.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between two bodies.

INFOTEP, established in 1980, is the governing body of the national technical professional training in the Dominican Republic. Its objective is to organize and regulate the national system of technical professional training, with the combined efforts of the state, workers, and employers to focus on the full development of human resources and the increase in productivity of companies across all sectors of economic activities.
