Labour Ministry in Emancipation festivities

The Ministry of Labour on  July 29th, held its annual Emanci-pation Festivities on the tarmac of the Ministry, Brickdam, Georgetown.

A release from the Ministry of Labour said that spectators were entertained by the Yoruba Singers, dancers from Joro Dance School, drumming groups from Buxton and Georgetown, vocalist, Monique Watson and OKC from Kast Talent Management.

Among those in attendance were  Joseph Hamilton, Minister of Labour and High Commissioner of Belize to Guyana, Gale Miller-Garnett.

After the grand concert, African cuisine such as Metemgee, Cook-up and  Pone were provided.
