Dear Editor,
It is relieving to learn, the female six year old, hospitalized for several weeks when a bullet was found lodged in her head, has been released, and is home recuperating, getting better. This was a harrowing time for the child and family and good wishes are there for them in this journey.
But equally concerning is the six year old male child, also shot in his head, and who, reports indicate, has not regained consciousness, several weeks later. This too is agonizing for the family.
My prayers and best wishes that this nightmare will soon be over and the kid comes back to his loved ones. Two young lives placed in jeopardy…one has recovered…the other still fighting, defiantly.
