-dug by GWI to repair main
The large hole that was dug at Avenue of the Republic and Brickdam, George-town, by a Guyana Water Inc (GWI) crew to repair a water main, resulted in frayed nerves and traffic at the intersection snarled in all directions.
It prompted the Guyana Police Force (GPF) to issue an advisory to motorists to utilise alternate routes and practice effective management to arrive for appointments or business engagements on time.
